Summerfield North is a "No Solicitation" neighborhood. Print a copy of our "no solicitors" sign here and hang it on your door to discourage solicitors from going door to door in our neighborhood.

Please Pick Up After Your Pets
Calling all dog owners! Please remember that City of Raleigh has a leash law and scoop law. We know a majority of our neighbors are responsible and law abiding, however this reminder is for the few that are amiss. Be considerate of your neighbors, their lawns and the law - please keep your dogs on a leash and pick up after your pets. Thank you.

Neighborhood Social Events:
We are a very socially active neighborhood with a dedicated social committee to plan great events throughout the year. Here's a list of our typical events.
>
Spring Fling — Typically the weekend before Easter, fun for all with an egg hunt, games and prizes.
>
Spring Yard Sale — Community yard sale usually in April or May.
>
Memorial Day Parade — On Memorial Day Monday,a wonderful parade with fire trucks, police cars, local mascots such as Wool E Bull, Chic-fil-a Cow, Muddy Mudcat, classic cars, Sanderson Marching band and neighborhood kids on bikes, scooters and pulled in wagons.
>
Memorial Day Pool Open House Neighborhood pool open house with pool games, prizes and cookout food provided by Summerfield North Stingrays.
>
Father's Day Golf Outing — On or around Father's Day, for dads, spouses, and kids, includes a round of golf and prizes.
>
4th of July Celebration Pool games, prizes and a potluck.
>
Adult Social/Board Elections — Typically in June or July, elect in new SNNA Board of Directors, then adults only pool party after hours.
>
Back to School Ice Cream Social — Typically the Sunday before the kids go back to school in August, make your own sundaes.
>
Fall Yard Sale — Community yard sale usually in September or October.
>
Fall Festival — Typically the weekend before Halloween, includes costume contest, inflatable bounce house and slide, make your own scarecrow contest and more.
>
Sleigh Ride/Carolling — Typically in December to celebrate the holidays, two horse drawn sleighs go around the neighborhood while we sing Christmas carols and enjoy the nieghborhood holiday decorations.
